Connect to Phone Socket
Connect the phone line from the wall socket to the BluePhone at the rear where marked "Tel Line". If multiple lines are available, it is recommended that the user select a centrally located position that will aid hands free two-way communication.

| 2) |
Connect to Power Source
It is important to have a dedicated power point within reach of the BluePhone's 2 metre plug-pack cable, as the handset requires mains power to maintain the battery backup facility. Connect the 9 volt power plug to the socket located underneath the phone. Feed the power cord through the retaining track under the phone to ensure a secure connection. The 'Assist' button should now be backlit and this will always indicate that mains power is on and the BluePhone is connected

Switching Your BluePhone On
To switch your BluePhone on and activate functionality, switch the battery on/off switch located at the rear of the phone to the "ON" position. The BluePhone will then announce, "Your system is switched on." Finally, lift the handset or press the speakerphone button to verify that you have a dial tone and the BluePhone is indeed connected. If there is no tone, refer to Troubleshooting in order to rectify this. |
